- Ensures team member adherence to generally accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.
- Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence. Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
- Knowledge of Industry Codes especially ISA / ASME / NEC / BS etc.
- Preferably Certified Functional Safety Engineer
- Experience in design calculation such as Orifice calculation / Control valve sizing / Voltage drop calculation.
- Experience in Control System design such as ICSS/ DCS / ESD / FGS Life-Cycle projects
- Knowledge of Control system architecture and develop control philosophy.
- Experience in development of control scheme for Third party interface
- Experience in FAT / IFAT (Inspection and testing) / LOPA
- Experience in develop Control system specification and review of vendor documents.
- Experience of different workshop such as HAZOP / HAZID / SIL
- Manage packages and provide input to other discipline packages.
- Liaise with vendors and clients to resolve any engineering issues.
- Vendor document review and interface with other disciplines.
- Has experience in carrying out technical bid analysis with further vendor clarifications report.
- Experience as the responsible engineer checking and approving construction drawings.
- Experience in discipline specific databases and efficient use of word processing and spreadsheet software such as Microsoft Office Word and Excel and as well-developed report writing skills.
- Computer skills in relevant packages including databases, spreadsheets, and word processing packages.
- Experience as the responsible engineer checking and approving construction isomeric drawings
- Extensive technical and practical experience in instrumentation and control design and operation.
- Approximately 8 years, with a minimum of 2 years experience in both a senior engineering position in the hydrocarbons sectors and 6+ years in an instrumentation and/or control engineering role.
