- Ensure compliance with accounting and tax laws and reporting requirements of the Clients;
- Negotiate with tax authorities to resolve tax payment issues and ensure tax filings are submitted within the estimated timelines;
- Work together with the finance, accounting, and operational teams on compliance requirements and applicable tax criteria;
- Prepare/Review all types of tax returns as well as track the filing obligations;
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Handle the bookkeeping and monthly analysis of the tax accounts, reconciliations as well as routine tax and accounting-related queries of the Clients;
- Compiling and presenting managerial reports, tax & accounting budgets of the Clients;
Xüsusi tələblər
- Proven experience as a (tax) accountant or senior (tax) accountant;
- Good understanding of local tax legislation;
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial data, and analytics;
- Understanding of IFRS and financial statements;
- Proven experience in tax reporting;
- Experience with accounting software (MS Nav is an advantage);
- Advanced MS Excel skills. Power BI and Alteryx knowledge would be considered as an asset;
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant;
- Relevant certification (e.g. ACCA) will be preferred;
- Consulting experience is an advantage;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, and English. Russian language would be considered an asset;
- Organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
