• Provide Cost Engineering service to the contract with responsibility for the accurate Cost Reporting of complete projects or individual elements within major projects 
• Prepare and track the Value of Work Done (VOWD) reports for ongoing and completed projects, ensuring alignment with project milestones and financial records
• Prepare Commercial close out reports. Track and monitor the completion of projects, ensuring all required activities are finalized before project close-out
• Prepare and generate Monthly Billing Reports for clients, ensuring all charges are accurately recorded based on project progress, contracts, and agreements. Coordinate with finance and accounting teams to ensure timely submission of Monthly Billing Reports for client invoicing and payment processing
• Prepare and generate Monthly Phasing Reports, tracking the allocation and progress of project phases to ensure alignment with project timelines, budgets, and milestones
• Generate and maintain accurate cost reports in a format and frequency that provides clear visibility of the status of expenditure against budgets for internal use
• Regularly monitor man-hour expenditure versus budget and physical progress, ensuring potential over-runs are identified and actioned in a timely manner
• Identify variances in project budget and in conjunction with PRP expediently implement corrective actions. In conjunction with the PRP, responsible for the management and expedient recovery of Work in Progress costs.
• Establish and maintain close working relationships with Finance, Procurement, Planning and Commercial Teams
• Produce regular cost reports for clients as required by the Contract Agreement or Company requirements detailing CTR and CVO values, client approved PO values, billed to date, committed costs, forecast final costs, as a minimum for external reporting
• Actively participate in project kick -off and progress meetings
• Review and commercially approve CTRs / CVOs and terms and conditions
• Review and approve client Purchase Orders / PD&MS Contract Review sheets in accordance with contract requirements
• Evaluate outgoing RFQ’s, carry out bid evaluations and provide recommendation for subsequent Purchase Orders in conjunction with the PRP, for 3rd party services
• In conjunction with the PRP review and approve all Purchase invoices ensuring compliance with budget
• Proactively identify and highlight areas of concern or commercial risks to Commercial Manager
• Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner
• Adherence to the Company Integrated Management System
• Compliance with Quality Assurance, Health and Safety and Environmental Policies
• Demonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by example. Ensure unsafe activities are challenged
• Adherence to the requirements of best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties. In particular, risk assessment and control, reliability and failure prevention necessary to ensure the safe use of systems
• Demonstrate and promote PD&MS values and lead by example
• Ensure direct report performance reviews are carried out within the required timescales
• Work proactively and meet with client representatives

• HND or equivalent in a relevant subject
• Competent in the use of MS applications
• Demonstrable experience in similar projects
• Proficient in reviewing and interpreting plans and schedules
• Demonstrable People Management experience
• Excellent written and spoken English
