SOCAR Head Office is looking for a Senior Engineer at Drilling Services Management division of the Services Management Department.

• Conduct comprehensive analyses on the implementation of projects across drilling entities included in the SOCAR Group (project specifications, timelines, resource allocations, and budgets and other analyses)
• Regularly monitoring the progress of projects,providing detailed reports to upper management on project status, challenges faced, resource needs
• Overseeing the compliance of drilling entities included in the SOCAR Group with the quality standards established by SOCAR, as well as safety regulations
• Establishing and maintaining continuous communication between SOCAR head office and enterprises, as well as with other stakeholders
• Analyzing the allocation and use of resources on projects to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Conducting regular analyzes and making suggestions on operational procedures in order to improve general project management practices for enterprises involved in drilling activities performed by the SOCAR Group entities

• Higher education (Bachelor's or Master degree in Oil and Gas Engineering)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oilfield is required. Experience in international service companies is preferrable
• Knowledge of well planning, casing design, mud systems, and cementing
• Familiarity with global standards (API, ISO)
• Project management and cost optimization skills
• Compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards
• Leadership and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with drilling equipment and technologies
• Ability to analyze NPT (Non-Productive Time) and optimize performance
• Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Preparation and presentation of drilling operation reports
• Implementation of drilling safety and emergency procedures
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English
