- Perform inspections of civil works including excavation, backfilling, concrete pouring, rebar installation, formwork, structural steel, paving, and finishing works.
- Ensure all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and project specifications.
- Monitor contractor activities and verify compliance with quality standards and approved procedures.
- Conduct surveillance inspections and witness hold points as per Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Review and verify material approvals, test certificates, and inspection records before installation.
- Ensure all civil materials used on site comply with project specifications and approved submittals.
- Identify non-conformances and raise NCRs when work does not meet project requirements.
- Follow up corrective and preventive actions related to civil works.
- Prepare daily inspection reports and site observation reports.
- Maintain inspection records, checklists, and quality documentation.
- Review and verify contractor quality dossiers and turnover documentation.
- Ensure all inspection reports are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Track and maintain records of RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, and punch list items.
- Support final handover documentation and mechanical completion dossiers.
- Attend site meetings, quality meetings, and coordination meetings as required.
- Liaise with laboratory personnel for soil, concrete, and material testing activities.
- Coordinate third-party inspections and testing when required.
Xüsusi tələblər
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil construction inspection.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas, infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction practices, standards, and inspection requirements.
- Experience in QA/QC inspection and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of excavation, concrete, rebar, formwork, structural steel, paving, and finishing inspections.
- Familiarity with Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and project specifications.
- Ability to review material approvals, test certificates, and inspection records.
- Experience in handling NCRs, RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, and punch list management.
- Fluent in English.
